Pencil and page

Pick one pencil, one notebook and one comfortable way to hold them.

A soft HB or 2B pencil does almost everything. Hold it further back than you write with, so your whole arm moves instead of just your fingers.

Fold your notebook open flat and clip it. Wind is the enemy of every field sketcher.
